 How it works
When the sensor detects animals moving around, emission is activated of sounds, voices, noises, music, etc., from an SD Card. On the SD card, you can also enter – by PC – any recording at your choice.
Sound emission
The item comes with a standard SD card, suitable to discourage the approaching of many animals (like ungulates). The SD card includes folders; each folder includes one or more different recordings (people clamour, chain saw noise, rifle shots or detonations, etc.). This way, if the same animal (or animals) will come back to the place, it will be difficult for it to associate recurring identical sounds to an effective lack of danger (inurement).
The same method is recommended if you prefer to make your own recordings or – after a certain period of operating time – you’ll find wise to vary the series of recorded sounds.
Positioning
Acoustic Dissuader can be easily fastened to any natural or artificial support (trees, posts, balustrades) thanks to the steel hooking on it’s back, by appropriate belt (see accessories) or by steel cable or chain with padlock. The item shall be placed so that the sensor’s “detection cone” looks towards the direction by which the animals you want to keep away are expected to come in. According to the extension of the area to be protected, it could be suitable to choose the wireless model, together with one or more wireless additional sensors. These sensors can be appropriately placed in the expected access areas, up to 50 meters from the Acoustic Dissuader, which will be therefore activated by far, according to the approaching direction of arriving animals. With a few Acoustic Dissuaders and some external sensors, it will be possible to protect quite wide areas.The Acoustic Dissuader can be also suitable to avoid or reduce crossings, where danger is higher.
Security
Associated with VIDEO TRAP system and at least one external wireless sensor, the wireless model of the Acoustic Dissuader can be placed inside buildings where you want to prevent and/or discourage intrusion: Video Trap will guard the external access to the building (warehouse, house, etc.), while the wireless sensor will activate the Acoustic Dissuader inside. For this purpose, is important to record - on The SD card - voices, sounds and noises which are usually heard inside the building to be protected. |
